People walk away from faith for so many different reasons: some were hurt, some simply didn’t understand the way of faith, others made a conscious decision to take a different path.  Whatever, and however - we recognize that many in our community and area have given up on faith, on church, and sometimes, on God.

And God gave us the vision to offer them the chance to rediscover:

Rediscover is more than a tag line - it’s our heartbeat.  We want to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to rediscover lost faith, rediscover a loving and grace-filled God, and rediscover church the way God intended it to be.

Every person who walks through the doors of Woodlawn Church will have this chance - guests, members, and seekers alike.  We’ve said it before, and it’s worth remembering: faith is a journey, a marathon; it doesn’t matter which lap you’re on, just as long as you’re on the track, and running in the right direction.  That’s what rediscover means to us - get back on the right track, and start the faith-walk again.
